Young Living Summer Must Haves!

It is officially summertime here in Oklahoma!! Which means long pool days, BBQ, and patio sitting!
If I had to choose a favorite time of the year, I would have to say summer. There is just something so magical about summer. For us, it’s a season of just slowing down and spending time with family.
We had a summer vacation planned this summer to go to Florida, but with the pandemic, we decided to cancel the trip. Hopefully next summer we will be able to go to the beach, and it will be so much more special!
I made a Summer Bucket List a few blog posts back that shares some ideas that’s more for being home and social distancing! You should go check it out!
Today I wanted to share some of my favorite Young Living Summer must-haves! I keep most of these items in my bag at all times!
First on the list is Young Living Seedlings baby wipes. Seedling baby wipes is soothing and non-drying. Dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic! It is perfect after a long day to grab a wipe to take off your makeup or to clean off sunscreen! It will leave your skin feeling so soft!
Ok, ladies, next on the list is Mirah Shave Oil! Mirah Shave Oil is a new favorite of mine! With summer comes having to shave our legs. Mirah Shave Oil provides a frictionless glide to help prevent razor nicks, bumps, and burns. It is formulated with a rich blend of oils, emollients and botanical ingredients for a luxuriously close shave! It will seriously leave your legs feeling so soft and smooth!
And just a little hack, Combine these ingredients below in an 8oz foaming hand soap bottle to help prevent build on your razor.
- 1/4 cup Castile soap
- 1TB V6 or Vitamin E oil
- Ten pumps Mirah
- Top with water

Young Living Mineral Sunscreen SPF 5O is one of the essential items you should have with you! When I was younger and didn’t care about a skincare routine. I would lay out all day long and put NO SUNSCREEN ON. Now that I am older and understand the importance of putting on sunscreen, I don’t go a day with outputting this on my kids or myself. BTW You can still get a tan with having sunscreen on!
Since this is a mineral sunscreen, it is a little thicker than most sunscreens. I recommend moisturizing first or add carrot seed oil to the sunscreen before putting it on. It will help it go on a lot smoother.

Another item you can’t go without is Young Living Insect Repellent. We love being outside in the summertime. But what we don’t love is the mosquitos and all the bugs that come out! YL’s Insect Repellant is tested to repel mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas using only 100 percent naturally derived, plant-based ingredients. It also does not have a strong smell like most insect repellents do. YL Insect Repellent has a lovely, pleasant citrusy aroma. It also goes on smoothly, non-greasy and non-sticky!!
A couple of years ago, I stopped wearing perfume. Not only because perfumes are very toxic for us, but because I was pregnant and I couldn’t wear any. I would get so sick anytime I put on perfume. I decided to start making my perfume and came up with a perfect smelling summer combo.
My summer roller perfume is Geranium, Lavender, Valor, and Orange. This combo smells so heavenly!
Next up is my Glow Serum! Made up of Frankincense, Lavender, and Copaiba and topped with Jojoba oil. During the summer, I try not to wear as much makeup. So in the morning times I will put on my Glow Serum and it gives my face that refreshing, glow and dewy look! And my face has never looked so good! I have always had challenges growing up with my skin. I had horrible acne and I still get the occasional hormonal acne. Ugh. But ever since using this serum it has gotten so much better!!
And last but not least, my favorite lip balms! Lavender and Grapefruit! You can not go wrong with either one of these! Both of these lip balms smell so good and both are so moisturizing for your lips! I am so obsessed with Young Livings lip balms!
